When visiting Cibubur Junction, I just came to Times Bookstore that lied next to the lobby. At first, there was no intention to buy any books. It was just a window shopping. But fortunately..I found Roald Dahl collection, the English version! And there were so many of it. Ohhhh.. What a lucky! There was also one packet of about 20 books of him. But it price about Rp670.000 more or less, not in my consideration of course :p.
Actually Roald Dahl is one of the best children story author I have known and I've been being fans of him since senior high. Some fictions' film had been made based on his books, like Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, The Witches, dan also Matilda.
How lucky I am, to find this treasure. Of course there was no doubt to buy one. Finally, I choose The BFG to take it home. It price Rp.79.000, and it was fine.

ReplyDeleteiya, lucu ceritanya, unik, imaginatif, banyak pesennya jg. tp saya bingung yg fantastic mr. fox, kok the thief wins ya? meskipun dibilangin bahwa 3 org petani yg jadi korban pencurian mr.fox itu jahaat bgt. tp kan ttp aja mr.fox mencuri.. tp seakan jd protagonis gitu.

ReplyDeletejustru itu, mba. karena unik itulah, makanya ceritanya mr.fox itu jadi sedikit keluar dari mainstream. awalnya saya juga agak gimana gitu pas baca. tapi, namanya juga Fox, ya emang tabiatnya mencuri. hehhee.. btw, mr.fox itu ada film-nya juga, waktu itu ada di sctv kalo gak salah. hee..
